What I love about the web is the opportunity to share my thoughts with others. But I also like to hear what others think, and to exchange ideas.

On this page, I'll share some of the comments I've received in my guestbook and via e-mail. Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the original log entry or essay that inspired the comment. In some cases, I also may also respond to the comments.

My friend JoAnn in Lexington, KY, writes:

I told JoAnn that a lot of the info posted, especially on the essay page, was stuff I was keeping bottled up inside. I didn't tell ANY of my friends. I only recently told Courtney, who I tell EVERYTHING, about my suicide attempts. The only people who knew about it before her were my brother and two of my sisters. But I need my friends to know this now, so that they can help me out if they see me slipping into another depression...and call me on it before it descends to the level which it did around this time last year. I mean, heck, Duff (Duff is my nickname for JoAnn...her maiden name is Duffy), we've been through a whole heap together...I would never purposefully keep you out of the loop! I love ya man!
